I finished the script, clocking in at 72 pages (don’t know how that works…since my last update was 70 pages, and I wrote at least five more pages…anywho).
I’m going to let it simmer for at least a week before I read over it and start correcting inconsistencies and errors. Meanwhile, I’m going to fiddle with a book idea I have as well as do some concept drawings for some characters in “Ghost”, plus organising a B-movie night (find more out soon) and making my own podcast radio show. Hopefully, that’s too little on my plate. Have a good one.
70 pages.
Will do a animated-ish storyboard once I completed the script in its entirety (meaning fixing every unintentional error [spelling, etc], adding a scene/altering a scene [it's already to the bare minimum of scenes]).
Talk later.

I had aimed for my script to be finished by the end of August and have changed that. It’s now going to be completed near the start of August. And, hopefully, the whole film will be done for Halloween 2010. It’s thanks to a friend of my dad’s who’s now a person I’m proud to call friend – Rob Hanly, who has really given me the energy and motivation to complete the script and get my film-making career going full-ball.
The goal is to have the film finished in time for next Halloween, despite the indepence of it all.
I am currently at 36 pages. My last draft was around 72 pages, I believe. Out of 24 individual parts (not scenes, many clumps of scenes), I have finished eight, leaving 16 clumps to go.
I’m aiming to have this draft finished June 17, then a second (technically fourth) draft finished July 17, and then the finished script at the start of August.
I’m also beginning to map the sequels out in accordance with this film along with the comic-book prequel detailing Buggy’s life during the second World War, which ties into the big plot…
Catch you later!

After lots of uncertainty and perhaps a little too many vodkas – none, in fact – Molly Brown is standing back up. As of this moment I’m rewriting the script and I am aiming to have it completed by July 1st next year, plus I’m working on a comic-book prequel, well, I’m thinking of it – it’ll be about Buggy, the zombie that aids Molly in her quest to find her killer, but there are certain aspects I don’t want to reveal that I have planned for MB2 that relate to the overall story.
Anyway – will keep blogging…need to find a Mac+Firefox compatible WordPress blogging tool so I don’t need to log in to WordPress all the time. Anyways, talk later!

Unfortunately the film went by the wayside but I’m hoping to pick it back up as I’m writing another draft incorporating the film as well as another film plus trailers as it was originally going to be.
The film will still happen, god knows when…

The Ghost of Molly Brown will no longer be a feature length film – well, not this year anyway. Due to budget constraints and limited time of all involved, Molly will have t be shortened to a short-and-sweet version. Hopefully this can be used to promote the idea for film companies and actors. All currently involved will remain involved, but the film will just be a hell of a lot shorter.
It sucks but it’s the best that can happen in a short time span. A lot is happening personally (TAFE course, moving houses, etc) so it is hard to imagine a feature film being done before my birthday. It isn’t impossible, but it would be downright stressful with everything going on.
I will write soon,

I did a Google search for The Ghost of Molly Brown and found a MySpace profile with the name THE GHOST OF MOLLY BROWN but this is not related to my movie in any way, shape or form. Just a heads up.

Good news nobody!
Well, not really good, pretty average, really.
While I wait for my “co-workers” to finish reading my script so I can actually revise it and then film it, I completely forgot that Script Frenzy, which last year was held in June, I think, has moved to April, and I thought that I may as well write the sequel as I’m pretty clear about where I want to go. All I want to say is the title: Molly Brown: Apocalypsis Infit. Apocalypsis is Greek for literally “lifting the viel” (according to the Wikipedia for Apocalypse), and Infit is “it begins” in Latin, so basically, Apocalypse Begins…interesting…
I’ll try and update this blog as much as possible when writing.
For those of you who don’t know Script Frenzy is all about writing a 100-word script in 30 days. Last year, when it was in June, it was a word target of 20,000 words, and I got there, but I don’t even think it hit 100 words, but oh well…
SCRIPT FRENZY…INFIT!

75 pages.
64 scenes.
I’m finished my second draft and it feels great. I’m happy with where I went with the characters and I’m gonna talk with my producing partners (teehee) James and Michael and we’ll go over the script and see what works and what doesn’t. Hopefully, that will be for a third (and final) draft as I need to film ASAP.
Cheers!
POST-SCRIPT: Script Frenzy starts on April 1st! Start those hilariously awful script ideas flowing!!!
